Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Lead Identity Manager to drive Identity and Access Management across Cyber Security and Digital Operations. You will set strategy, govern access, oversee Privileged Access, and lead JML and vetting services to protect critical assets.

This hybrid role requires two days in the office weekly, some UK travel, and eligibility for SC clearance. You will shape identity governance and ensure secure, compliant, efficient access across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology services.
• Proven ability to develop policies, strategies and processes.
• Experience leading or building teams in a tech environment.
• Experience in identity lifecycle management and access governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide develop and maintain Identity Systems and SOPs; lead resources to prevent, detect, respond to threats.
• Ensure strategic alignment of team objectives to governance, policies and business strategies.
• Lead operational Identity Services delivery to meet quality expectations and deliver value.
• Maintain SOPs, Identity processes and KB articles per policy and change processes.
• Provide regular reporting of Identity threats, risks and controls.
• Lead transition of systems to Identity Assurance Governance and Privileged Access Management.
• Maintain compliance with security standards, legislation, and monitoring requirements.
• Influence strategic direction of Identity Management to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
