Job summary

Maldon District Council is seeking an ICT Support Analyst to deliver specialist ICT support and guidance in a hybrid role based in Maldon, Essex. You will be the primary contact for business areas and IT services, resolving incidents, requests and cases within agreed timescales.

The role requires IT support experience, strong customer focus and the ability to work with colleagues and suppliers on small projects while contributing to continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or demonstrable IT support experience.
• Experience in providing IT support and guidance to business users.
• Knowledge of ICT policies, information security and data protection.
• Experience with incident, request and case management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist ICT advice and support to services as a first point of contact.
• Log, manage and progress ICT incidents, requests and cases with timely resolution.
• Support small ICT projects and system changes with colleagues and suppliers.
• Contribute to service improvements and change initiatives.
