Job summary

1 Tech Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join a leading organisation supporting the education sector in Oxford/Abingdon. You will take ownership of the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable systems and act as the main technical contact for the site.

You will manage servers, networks, Wi‑Fi, and ICT projects, providing technical leadership and align ICT initiatives with school leadership and end users.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ICT infrastructure in an education setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft server technologies and networking.
• Security and disaster recovery planning experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage servers, networks, Wi‑Fi and ICT infrastructure.
• Lead ICT projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain backups, security, and disaster recovery.
• Support Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Hyper‑V.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve complex issues.
• Build strong relationships with school leadership and end users.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose while acting as the main technical contact for the site.
