Job Opportunity: ICT & Computer Science Teacher (Secondary)

Contract: Full-Time | Full Academic Year

Pay Rate: £180 - £230 per day (dependent on experience)

A secondary school in Coventry is seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT and Computer Science Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position covering the full academic year, with the potential for extension or a permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing digital literacy and problem-solving skills
Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching ICT and Computer Science at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
