Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton, North Wales, invites undergraduates to join a 12.5-month placement year in our Single Aisle Wing Value Stream Management team. Start date 16 August 2027, location Broughton.

You’ll gain exposure to the wing manufacturing lifecycle and work across engineering, production planning and digital tooling. You'll be supported by dedicated coaching and mentorship as you contribute to capacity projects and learn project management basics within a dynamic aerospace

Qualifications

Open to undergraduates for the full placement duration.
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Management, or related fields.
Be tech-savvy and willing to learn new digital tools.
Collaborative team player with clear thinking and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams across departments and global lines to learn how we work together.
Support engineering and production teams on improvements and capacity projects.
Apply digital tools to optimise processes on the factory floor.
Contribute to project costs awareness and basic budgeting concepts.
Engage in problem-solving and stakeholder communication with guidance.
