Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK is offering an undergraduate internship at its Broughton facility, North Wales. The role focuses on hands-on project management within the Business Support and H&S teams, bridging daily operations with long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student continuing studies after the placement
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline
• Mindset: Lean manufacturing, aviation and problem-solving
• Technical & Digital Literacy: Proficiency with Google Workspace and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Delivery: lead improvement initiatives from concept to execution and track milestones
• Risk & Safety Management: conduct risk assessments and drive corrective actions
• Lean & Process Optimisation: map workflows and reduce waste to improve efficiency
• Stakeholder Engagement: liaise between shop-floor, engineering and senior management to gain buy-in
