Job summary

Confidential is recruiting a Utilities Administrator on a temporary basis to join a busy utilities function in a hybrid role. You will take ownership of end-to-end utility invoices and supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a data-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in utilities, accounts payable or billing, be highly organised and capable of professional supplier communication, with the ability to manage workload independently and support data

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities, accounts payable, finance administration, billing or supplier management.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Professional communication with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process and batch utility invoices.
• Check invoices for errors, duplicates and incorrect charges.
• Reconcile payments and issue remittance advice.
• Chase suppliers for missing invoices and resolve billing queries and disputes.
• Maintain invoice trackers, account records and utility data (including MPANs and MSNs).
• Support debt recovery and payment allocation.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative support to the Utilities team.
