Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor (UK) near Birmingham to join an established UK/EMEA team. The role covers quotations, sales orders, stock enquiries and delivery updates from enquiry through to fulfilment.

You will liaise with account managers, production and warehousing, maintain CRM/ERP records, and help develop product and service knowledge. The role offers hybrid working after probation, a strong basic salary, and a 10% bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in B2B order management, customer service or sales support.
• Proven ability to manage orders from enquiry to delivery.
• Experience raising quotations and processing sales orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP/CRM systems; JD Edwards or Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Input, manage and monitor quotations and sales orders from enquiry to fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, stock, and delivery data across internal systems.
• Review order book and identify potential issues requiring action or customer communication.
• Provide clear and timely information regarding products, pricing, stock availability, lead times and company policies.
• Liaise with account managers, production, warehousing, despatch and colleagues across the wider business to support successful order delivery.
• Manage customer enquiries professionally through telephone, email and other communication channels.
• Take ownership of customer issues and ensure they are progressed efficiently through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records using CRM, ERP and internal systems.
• Support account managers throughout the specification, quotation and order process.
• Build strong and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate product samples through to despatch and follow up where required.
• Work to agreed service levels, response times and quality standards.
• Act as an internal voice of the customer and communicate relevant feedback across the business.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve processes, service quality and the wider customer experience.
