Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to grow our customer base across Yorkshire & Humber and Scotland. The role offers hybrid working options and a competitive package with a base salary circa £36,000 plus bonus.

You will manage new business and existing accounts, use Salesforce to track quotes, and help shape future sales strategy while supporting community-focused environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in the waste industry, in a Sales or Technical role is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of key regional industries and the wastes they produce.
• Driven, curious with strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securing new business to ensure growth targets are met across Yorkshire and Humber region.
• Managing a portfolio of existing accounts within the region.
• Using Salesforce CRM to record customer interactions and quotes.
• Assisting in the development of the future sales strategy.
• Managing tender processes for potential new customers.
• Communicating, managing and implementing cost increases to customers.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and internal coordinators.
• Managing and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
