Job summary

Watlow in Worthing, UK, is hiring a Systems & Service Operations Junior Specialist on a fixed-term maternity cover. The role involves entering service and project orders in Oracle, administering SLAs, and supporting project delivery across Europe.

You will work four days in the Worthing office with one day from home, collaborating with Project Managers, the delivery team and calibration staff. This is a great entry path into service and project operations in a global tech business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial, order processing, customer service or administrative role.
• Experience with an ERP system (Oracle is an advantage).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• An open, proactive communication style and the confidence to ask questions.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work from our Worthing office four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Enter and set up service and project orders in Oracle following receipt of customer purchase orders.
• Administer service level agreements (SLAs) and follow up to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Work with Project Managers to monitor project status, revenue, costs and backlog.
• Provide administrative support to the project delivery team, including coordinating service appointments, recording engineers’ working hours and sending documentation such as calibration certificates and service reports to customers.
• Work closely with the Calibration Team, maintaining calibration records and monitoring calibration appointments for managed customers.
