Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Training Systems Integrated Solution Leader (ISL) for submarine training projects. You will drive early-stage development from capture through program delivery, aligning customer needs with actionable training solutions and modular architectures.

In this senior role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage with customers and senior stakeholders, and promote reuse and standardization across programs while traveling up to 20% and maintaining relevant security

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of related experience in industry and/or military service.
• Minimum 10 years in development and/or delivery of defense training programs.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing integrated training, simulation, defense, or complex operational solutions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary or matrix teams in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills for evolving requirements.
• Ability to synthesize operational, technical, commercial, and training information.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and influence decision-making across diverse groups.
• Experience in regulated, high-risk, mission-critical environments.
• Ability to travel nationally/internationally up to 20%.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian and/or NATO Secret Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated submarine training solutions supporting customer success and growth.
• Support naval business development: market analysis, opportunity identification, and strategy.
• Conduct needs analyses during business capture and pre-contract phases.
• Develop evidence-based training solution recommendations from evolving requirements.
• Design modular, scalable training solutions aligned with product strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, program management, and partners.
• Present concepts and strategies to customers, leaders, and stakeholders.
