Job summary

NFU Mutual is seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead strategic delivery across a sub-portfolio of high-impact projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders and empowering teams to achieve meaningful business outcomes in a hybrid setup between home and our Stratford-upon-Avon office. This 12-month fixed-term role requires experience in change delivery, portfolio management, and financial governance.

• Experience leading strategic business and technology change.
• Proven leadership of project teams and portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder engagement at executive level.
• Ability to manage sub-portfolio finances and resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight across a sub-portfolio ensuring delivery on time, cost and quality.
• Lead impact assessments and recommendations to maintain portfolio attractiveness and achievability.
• Balance budgets and reallocates resources to optimise delivery.
• Coach and develop project teams and maintain governance with NFU Mutual’s Change Framework.
