Job summary

Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to drive organizational transformation and partner with senior leaders on HR strategies during periods of change.

You will lead talent management, organizational design, change communication, and employee engagement, guiding managers and employees through transitions while ensuring compliance and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Experience leading or supporting significant organizational transformation or change management projects.
• Strong understanding of talent management, organizational design, and employee engagement strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Solid knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, focusing on organizational transformation and change management.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives during periods of change.
• Lead talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development aligned with transformation goals.
• Manage employee relations and engagement strategies to ensure smooth transitions and maintain morale.
• Develop and execute communication plans related to HR initiatives during transformation.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to assess the impact of transformation efforts and inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless HR support for business initiatives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on change management processes.
• Ensure all HR practices remain compliant with relevant legislation throughout transformation phases.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the organization.
