Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Consultant for a Randburg-based BPR role. You will diagnose current processes, map inefficiencies, and design future-state solutions while coordinating on-site client work with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement. You will mentor junior consultants, run workshops, measure impact, and drive sustainable improvements across Gauteng client engagements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in management consulting or related role with a focus on BPR.
• Expertise in process mapping tools (Visio, Aris) and BPR methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and change management.
• Proven ability to lead complex BPR projects from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Randburg, Gauteng, and travel for client engagements.
• Experience working with clients in Gauteng region is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic efforts to map and analyze existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and pain points.
• Design and architect optimized future-state business processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
• Develop detailed implementation plans for BPR initiatives, including timelines, resources, and change management considerations.
• Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive consensus.
• Oversee the implementation of redesigned processes, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
• Measure and report on the impact of BPR initiatives, demonstrating tangible improvements in key metrics.
• Collaborate closely with clients' IT and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the firm's methodology development in process improvement.
• Stay abreast of evolving business process technologies and methodologies.
