Job summary

United Infrastructure Water Limited is hiring a Planner to ensure effective scheduling and coordination of engineering activities. The role focuses on forward planning, resource allocation, and risk management to meet PPM and reactive works within SLAs.

You will plan and schedule jobs, confirm site access, engineer skills, and materials, and work with the Operations Manager to optimise planning. Hybrid 4 days in office, 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with CAFM systems.
• Planning or scheduling in a corporate environment using internal systems and MS Office.
• Knowledge of hard services or facilities management (desirable).
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule jobs aligning with timeframes set by Demand Lead.
• Ensure requirements in place before job allocation (site access, engineer skills, materials).
• Identify and escalate risks affecting delivery timelines.
• Proactively resolve access or scheduling issues to avoid failed visits.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to optimise engineer planning.
• Ensure reactive works are raised and completed within SLA.
• Support timely delivery of all PPM activities each month.
• Maintain data quality in systems such as Maximo and Oracle.
• Escalate outstanding or at‑risk jobs and implement mitigation actions.
• Produce and manage engineer work schedules for productivity.
