Job summary

Door Controls Direct in Poundbury is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Executive to handle day-to-day customer enquiries, quotations, and orders. You will deliver high-quality service while supporting sales activity, with no cold calling and a focus on converting quotes to sales.

You will manage enquiries, process orders, and resolve queries, helping the team meet performance targets in a busy environment. Hybrid remote with some office presence supports flexible working.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using CRM or order processing systems.
• Experience identifying upselling opportunities.
• Experience in a product or technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
• Process quotations, orders, and customer requests accurately.
• Take ownership of customer queries through to resolution.
• Support customers with returns, order queries, and product questions.
• Manage web orders and respond to online enquiries.
• Follow up on quotations to support conversion to order.
• Keep internal systems up to date with accurate information.
• Work closely with the wider team to maintain service standards.
