Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for graduates to join our Roads team in 2027. You will contribute to projects that design, improve and maintain road networks, helping communities stay connected and safe.

You will be part of multidisciplinary teams, supported by engineers and specialists, with exposure to highway design, traffic analysis and site visits. The two-year Graduate Development Programme will develop your skills and professional network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2:2 in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Eligible to start in April or September 2027.
• Interest in road/highway infrastructure and transport networks.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to solve engineering challenges.
• Willing to learn from specialists and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Support highway design, produce technical drawings and calculations.
• Analyse traffic and transport data and attend site visits.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams under experienced engineers.
