Job summary

WSP is looking for graduates to join its Civil teams in 2027 as part of the two‑year Graduate Development Programme. You’ll contribute to projects across Bridges, Pavements, Aviation, Rail Civil Infrastructure and Asset Management, gaining hands‑on design, analysis and site experience.

You’ll work with experienced engineers and specialists on real‑world challenges, with structured learning, mentoring and project exposure that supports your early career growth.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or better in a relevant field; master’s degrees accepted only for Bridges roles.
• Starting work in September 2027.
• Interest in Civil/Structural Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Airfield Engineering, Aviation Management or Airport Planning.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to solve problems that shape the built environment.
• Enjoy working with others, sharing ideas and learning from different specialists across project teams.
• Take ownership of your work and development while creating value for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience through design work, technical analysis, site visits and stakeholder engagement.
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with experienced engineers and specialists on real-world challenges.
• Contribute to projects across Bridges, Maritime, Aviation, Rail Civil Infrastructure, Pavements and Asset Management.

Education

2:2 degree (or on track) in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
