Job summary

Select is seeking an Operations Manager for a regional external site services business. This hybrid role covers managing subcontractors and remote delivery across Suffolk area, ensuring sites are covered, safe and serviced on time.

You'll scope, quote and organise reactive works, check contractor compliance, and maintain client relationships. The role offers £30k–£40k DOE plus £350/month car allowance, with 2 days in the office and a Nest pension plan.

Qualifications

• Experience managing subcontractors, third-party providers or field teams remotely.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to schedule resources and balance planned/reactive work.
• Confident with clients and able to resolve problems calmly and commercially.

Responsibilities

• Own a regional network of subcontractors and delivery partners and coordinate deployment across the area.
• Scope, quote and organise reactive external works through the partner network.
• Check contractor compliance including insurances, vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct regular site visits for risk assessments, quality checks and client meetings.
• Resolve issues and maintain strong client relationships; on-call during peak season.
