Job summary

hireful is seeking a Sales Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer in Manchester on a hybrid basis (2/3 days in the office). The role involves bridging the gap between clients and sales, leading discovery sessions and workshops, and translating business needs into compelling technology recommendations across Cyber Security, Data Protection, Cloud and more.

Ideal candidates have a technical IT background with customer-facing experience; pre-sales exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Technical IT background with ability to understand complex tech
• Experience bridging client and sales functions in a pre-sales capacity
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions, customer assessments and workshops
• Translate business challenges into technology recommendations across Cyber Security, Data Protection, Cloud and more
• Support proposals and RFPs; deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and service delivery to design solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop and present technical solutions in alignment with IBM technology offerings
