Job summary

Microsoft is seeking a Security Solutions Consultant in Basingstoke, hybrid role, offering up to £75,000 basic plus car allowance and uncapped commission. You will work with sales teams to design and present cyber security solutions for enterprise customers.

You'll lead discovery workshops, design outcomes-based solutions, deliver technical demos, and support proposals. The role requires strong incident response knowledge and experience with Defender/Sentinel, SIEM/XDR/EDR, and effective

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing cyber security role.
• Security consulting, pre-sales, architecture or professional services experience.
• Understanding of SOC operations and incident response is essential.
• Knowledge of Defender and/or Sentinel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery workshops.
• Design cyber security solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Support proposals, RFIs and RFPs.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers.
• Work closely with Security Operations teams.
• Promote Managed SOC and Threat Intelligence services.
• Support Microsoft Defender opportunities.
