Job summary

University of Oxford is seeking a Pensions Administrator to support USS members, maintain records, and assist across the University’s Colleges and Departments. The role requires handling sensitive information with discretion and working in a hybrid environment.

The successful candidate will be experienced in pension administration within a large organisation, proficient with Microsoft Office, and able to manage high volumes of work to strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational pension scheme administration in a large organisation.
• Experience with USS or defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volume of work to deadlines.
• Experience handling complex and confidential information.
• Team-oriented with ability to work across departments.
• Excellent communication with a wide range of members and contacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain membership records for USS pension scheme members.
• Support members throughout their pension journey.
• Liaise with Colleges and Departments across the University.
• Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Work flexibly and collaboratively within a high-compliance environment.
