Job summary

Anderson Knight Limited in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established service business on a hybrid basis. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will support payroll across all group companies with accuracy and timeliness.

Key duties include end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing, PAYE/NIC and statutory payments, auto enrolment, and handling starters/leavers and related payroll changes. You will resolve queries and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Experience handling multiple end-to-end payrolls across periods.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
• High level of punctuality and reliability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Possess knowledge of PAYE/NIC, and statutory payments (redundancy, SMP/SAP, SSP, etc.).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auto-enrolment requirements.
• Process new starters, leavers, P45, P60, pensions, student loans and related items.
• Respond to and resolve employee payroll queries.
• Meet and exceed all payroll deadlines.
