Job summary

Portfolio Payroll currently collaborates with a services organisation in central Harrogate recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the payroll manager, you will handle several large payroll runs and ensure accuracy across end-to-end processes.

This role offers progression opportunities as the business grows, with exposure to payroll legislation, reporting, payslips, and stakeholder relations, and a hybrid working pattern with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experienced payroll officer, administrator or specialist.
• Strong Excel and VLOOKUP skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• End to end payroll processing for multiple payrolls.
• Manual calculations where required.
• Communicate payroll legislation to stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports.
• Produce and distribute payslips.
• Handle stakeholder and employee relations.
• Resolve complex payroll queries.
