Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Payroll Lead to shape and manage our end-to-end payroll and pension service across multiple sites in Scotland, including Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen. You will lead a team of Payroll Partners, Specialists and Officers, drive accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement, and provide expert guidance on complex payroll matters.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading an end-to-end payroll and pension service.
• Current knowledge of PAYE, RTI, NI, pension administration and automatic enrolment.
• Degree-level qualification; CIPP/IPPM or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accurate, timely and compliant delivery of monthly payroll and pension services.
• Develop and manage the Payroll Team to create a positive, customer-focused environment.
• Oversee payroll controls, reconciliations, journals, month-end and year-end reporting.
