Job summary

Virtuoso Recruitment Limited is seeking a Payroll Coordinator on a part-time basis (3 days per week) with hybrid working between Wrexham Industrial Estate and home. The role focuses on accurate monthly payroll processing, new starters and leavers, and related HR/payroll tasks.

You will handle BIK, pension data, and earnings adjustments, while maintaining Evalu-8 data and HMRC submissions. AQA/CIMA or equivalent, Sage skills, and strong Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA qualified or experience-based equivalent.
• Sage Payroll systems experience desirable.
• Sage accounting systems experience desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Knowledge of current workplace legislation.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing of monthly salaries and related payments.
• Process new starters and leavers.
• Calculate and input BIK and deductions, including salary sacrifice where applicable.
• Administer Benefit in Kind records (healthcare, life cover, etc.).
• Maintain Pension data and Wage stream.
• Ensure HR information on Evalu-8 is up to date.
• Input and authorise payroll payments to bank.
• Administer HMRC FPS, EPS submissions.
