Job summary

The Talent Division in Sheffield is assisting a specialist technology and digital transformation business in finding a part-time Business Development Executive. You will follow up on leads generated by marketing, make initial contact with prospective clients, qualify opportunities and arrange meetings for the sales team.

Reconnecting with lapsed clients, cross-selling services and maintaining a healthy pipeline are also required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing commercial role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to ask good questions, listen carefully and identify opportunities.
• Consultative approach with ability to follow up leads.
• Good organisational skills and time management.
• Proactive and professional without being pushy.
• Proficient IT skills and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads from marketing and website enquiries.
• Make initial contact with prospective clients and explore requirements.
