Job summary

HF in Manchester is seeking a Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join our Motor team on a hybrid basis. You will manage a litigated caseload of motor claims, focusing on defendant cases, drafting documents, and supporting senior colleagues across cases.

You will handle approximately 100 files, attend conferences, and contribute to case plans and negotiations with insurers and third parties. HF offers progression paths and internal training to grow your career in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases.
• Familiarity with the CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct and their practical application.
• Knowledge of motor insurance considerations and claims processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Draft documents, applications, offers, orders and directions.
• Attend telephone conferences and manage cases in line with SLAs.
• Review quantum and values for general and special damages, and formalise case plans.
• Enter into telephone negotiations and liaise with third-party solicitors and insurers.
• Coordinate with insurer clients and lay clients throughout the case lifecycle.
