Zusammenfassung

HF is seeking a Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join the Motor team in its Birmingham office on a hybrid basis. You will manage a litigated caseload of small claims, focusing on liability and vehicle damage, while supporting other team members.

The role suits someone with experience in defendant claims, familiarity with CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach. You’ll draft documents, review quantum, negotiate, and help drive cases through SLAs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling litigated motor claims (defendant focus preferred).
• Familiarity with CPR and SRA Code of Conduct.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume caseload and negotiate with third parties.

Aufgaben

• Drafting documents, applications, offers, orders and directions, attending telephone conferences and managing cases in line with SLAs.
• Reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages and formalising case plans.
• Entering into telephone negotiations, liaising with third party solicitors and insurers, own insurer clients and lay clients.
