Job summary

HF is recruiting a Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join the Motor team in Manchester. Hybrid working from Salford Media City Office supporting a high-volume motor claims practice with a defendant caseload.

You will run litigated small claims, draft documents, manage case plans, and liaise with insurers and third parties. Ideal candidates have CPR/SRA familiarity and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases.
• Familiarity with the CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct and their practical application.
• Knowledge of motor insurance and related processes is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Run a litigated caseload of small claims matters dealing with liability and vehicle damage.
• Assist other Litigation Executive/Claims Handlers with an average of 100 files.
• Draft documents, applications, offers, orders and directions; attend telephone conferences.
• Review quantum, value damages, and formalise case plans; negotiate with insurers and solicitors.
