Job summary

HF is recruiting a Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join the Motor team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. You will manage a litigated caseload of motor claims, focusing on liability and vehicle damage, while supporting a busy department with a large caseload.

Ideal candidates have experience handling litigated claims (defendant preferred), knowledge of CPR/SRA requirements, and a proactive, solution-focused approach. Training and progression opportunities are available within HF.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases.
• Familiarity with CPR and SRA Code of Conduct and practical application in motor insurance.

Responsibilities

• Run a litigated caseload of small claims involving liability and vehicle damage.
• Assist other Litigation Executives/Handlers with an average of ~100 files.
• Draft documents, applications, offers, orders and directions; attend telephone conferences.
• Manage cases in line with SLAs; review quantum and damages; formalise case plans.
• Enter negotiations with third parties, liaise with insurers and clients.
