Job summary

Red Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our client's busy contact team in Bath on a temporary basis. You will handle queries across phone, email, live chat and social media, delivering a positive customer experience.

Working 40 hours per week (Mon-Sat, hybrid Bath), you'll take ownership from enquiry to resolution, handling orders, installations and complaints with empathy and clarity. Training and ongoing support available.

Qualifications

• Previous B2C customer service experience in a contact centre or retail.
• Experience handling complaints and resolving issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and questioning abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex information for customers.
• Empathetic and respectful communication across diverse backgrounds.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, live chat and social media.
• Provide accurate information about products, orders and installations.
• Take ownership of customer enquiries through to resolution.
• Handle complaints professionally and aim for first-contact resolution.
• Arrange installations and explain the process to customers.
• Listen carefully to identify the best solution.
• Communicate complex information clearly to customers.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes across the team and wider business.
