Job summary

Wise Monkey Recruitment ltd is seeking a proactive Management Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team. The role covers management accounts, reconciliations, sales ledger and credit control, with opportunities to collaborate across international teams.

The successful candidate will handle bank reconciliations, month-end processes and reporting, with study support for accounting qualifications and a hybrid working pattern (up to two days remote, three days in the office).

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy finance environment, handling reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Proficient in Excel formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations, journals and monthly financial reports.
• Support month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews.
• Raise sales invoices, allocate payments and respond to customer queries.
• Monitor overdue debts and proactively chase payments.
• Investigate discrepancies with colleagues to resolve issues.
• Produce weekly sales and debtor reports and support audit requirements.
