Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd in Salford is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. Hybrid working arrangement. The role focuses on monthly management accounts, reconciliations and hands-on transactional finance using Xero.

The successful candidate will support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting, while maintaining strong control across ledgers. Experience with Xero and Excel is essential, with AAT or ACCA/CIMA part-qualification

Qualifications

• Candidate must have hands-on experience producing monthly management accounts.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to explain variances clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet.
• Manage month-end processes: accruals, prepayments, journals and reconciliations.
• Produce financial reports and analyze income, expenditure and budgeting performance.
• Support cashflow reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
