Job summary

Facultatieve Technologies is seeking a Logistics & Dispatch Co-Ordinator to join the Stores Team in Leeds. You will manage daily shipment activity, prepare and issue shipment and customs documents, and coordinate with Stores, Procurement, Projects, Spares and Service to meet dispatch priorities.

The role requires experience in logistics within manufacturing or engineering, with ERP systems proficiency and knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Understanding of dispatch and shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and customs invoices.
• Knowledge of courier and freight processes and international courier networks.
• Experience using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipment documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists and courier labels.
• Create customs invoices for spares and project shipments.
• Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure items are labelled, packed, and ready for dispatch.
• Arrange inter-site transport by confirming capacity and priorities with Stores.
• Book collections with DHL and other carriers; provide labels to Stores.
• Track shipments daily and follow up on delays.
• Resolve customs issues to prevent hold-ups.
• Raise and manage claims for lost or damaged shipments.
• Check carrier invoices and challenge incorrect charges.
• Request freight quotes and select the best option.
• Update internal systems with shipment status and monitor project delivery schedules.
• Maintain export documentation for compliance.
