Job summary

Unison Ltd in Scarborough is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage UK and international shipments of machines, parts, and consumables. You will coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, liaise with customers and carriers, and maintain accurate shipping records using ERP/CRM/WMS systems.

Experience with customs, Incoterms and freight forwarders is essential. This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills, problem-solving and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Experience in logistics, shipping and export.
Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
Knowledge of freight modes and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries across UK and international shipments.
Liaise with customers, couriers, and transport providers to arrange collections and deliveries.
Schedule deliveries to support production and operational requirements.
Monitor shipments and resolve delays or delivery issues.
Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery notes, and tracking information.
Use internal systems (ERP/CRM/WMS) to manage logistics data.
Support basic reporting on delivery status and issues.
Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day logistics queries.
