Job summary

Holt Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator/Stores Person for a well-established manufacturing and engineering business based in Farnborough. The role combines stores, inventory control, goods in/out and shipping coordination to ensure materials are available for production and dispatch deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong warehouse/logistics background, be highly organized, accurate and familiar with ERP systems and shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems for stock control and order processing.
• Proven ability to manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments and associated paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Book incoming goods onto ERP accurately and promptly.
• Pick and issue parts to ensure production readiness.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and prepare shipping docs.
• Liaise with couriers and manage shipment delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Investigate stock discrepancies to prevent delays.
• Check received items against purchase orders.
• Ensure proper labelling, storage and accessibility of stock.
• Support production and technical teams with stores-related queries.
• Maintain a clean, organized stores environment.
