Job summary

Interaction Recruitment in Bridgwater is seeking a Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to manage orders from receipt through to delivery. You will coordinate dispatch, logistics and export activities, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery while collaborating with account managers, planning, production and warehousing teams.

The role emphasizes organisation, communication and attention to detail, with a site-based role supported by occasional home-working up to 6 days per month after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' customer service experience.
• Experience in customer service, order management, dispatch, logistics or supply chain coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and business systems.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and account managers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
• Respond to and resolve customer queries, escalating issues where required.
• Coordinate dispatch activities with Planning, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams.
• Arrange domestic and international shipments and liaise with transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and review export and shipping documentation; ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
• Support continuous improvements to customer service, dispatch and export processes.
