Job summary

Nextech Group in the United Kingdom is hiring an IT Systems & Network Support Engineer to join our IT Support Services team. You will provide first-class technical support to internal and external customers, keeping systems and networks running smoothly from day-to-day troubleshooting to helping implement new solutions.

You'll handle escalations within SLA, configure hardware and software, and contribute to security practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT support experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server and AD components.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure/M365) is a plus.
• Industry-standard security practices awareness.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Help Desk issues within SLA targets.
• Log, diagnose and fix support issues owning them through to resolution.
• Keep customers and colleagues updated throughout each call.
• Provide technical guidance and support pre-and post-sales.
• Prepare, configure and commission hardware and software.
• Evaluate new technologies and feed back findings.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Champion good information security practices.
