Click Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an experienced Service Transition Lead to drive a mature IT service transition function within a large, regulated enterprise.

This hands-on role collaborates with project teams, IT operations and suppliers to ensure new services are ready, supported and transitioned to live operation. The role demands strong stakeholder engagement, risk management and a pragmatic approach to improving transition governance.

Qualifications

• Strong Service Transition experience, not purely BAU Service Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional IT transitions.
• Understanding of ITIL environments; ITIL Foundation required; Practitioner or higher desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service Transition across multiple projects and programmes.
• Own service acceptance, go-live readiness and handover into support.
• Work closely with Project/Programme Managers, IT Operations, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage transition risks, issues and dependencies.
• Lead Go-Live Readiness and Acceptance into Service checkpoints.
• Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and support arrangements are in place.
• Help improve and mature Service Transition processes and governance.
