Job summary

Howden Group is hiring an IT Operations Engineer to join the IT Operations team across London, Leeds, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham, or Amersham. The role is hybrid, with travel to other UK offices as needed.

You will support and develop the company’s IT systems, primarily on Windows Server environments, Azure, and Microsoft 365, ensuring security and availability across a multi-office setup.

Qualifications

• Networking CCNA level certification or equivalent.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications.
• Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Azure, and MS 365 admin.
• Experience managing server room UPS, networking and data centre equipment.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Cyber Essentials+ awareness.
• Ability to communicate with both IT and non-IT staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line user support across UK offices.
• Collaborate with software teams to deploy and maintain infrastructure.
• Administer Servers, Networking, Microsoft Azure and 365 services.
