Job summary

Howden is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join its IT Operations team. The role is based in London, Leeds, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham, or Amersham with hybrid working and some national travel to other offices.

You will support and develop our IT systems, mainly on Windows Server platforms, Azure, and Microsoft 365. The team provides 3rd line support and partners with software teams on deployments.

Qualifications

• Networking certifications (CCNA level) required or preferred.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications beneficial.
• Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Azure, MS 365 administration.
• Experience managing server room UPS, network and datacentre equipment.
• ITIL Foundation desirable.
• Clear communication across IT and non-IT groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line user support across UK offices.
• Collaborate with software teams to deploy applications and maintain infrastructure.
• Administer Servers, Network, Azure and 365 services.
• Manage Production and Development environments.
• Implement backup, DR, email security and IT procedures.
