Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar IT position including technical troubleshooting.
• Experience administering desktop, server, and mobile operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android).
• Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory/Entra ID administration experience.
• Cloud platforms administration (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds).
• Experience of working within the NHS.
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.
• Network administration (routing & switching, SDN, firewalls).
• Virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Data management, storage, security, backup and archiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line technical support and advisement on digital architectures.
• Maintain IT hardware and services with NHS standards.
• Ensure availability of services; collaborate with teams and third parties.
• Embed innovation and cybersecurity focus in technical solutions.
• Be flexible with working hours and participate in out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Travel to Trust premises as required to support IT functions.
