Job summary

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust seeks an Infrastructure and Systems Administrator to deliver high-level technical support, advise on digital architectures, and maintain IT hardware across the organization. You will work within the Digital Services team to keep services available while aligning with NHS standards.

You will collaborate with staff at multiple levels, contribute to continuous improvement, and participate in an on-call rota with some travel to Trust premises as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT subject or equivalent learning and experience.
• ITIL Foundation and CPD in technical infrastructure.
• Postgraduate qualification in IT related subject.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide third line technical support and advisory on digital architectures.
• Maintain Trust IT hardware and support services across teams and third parties.
• Ensure NHS standards and best practices are followed in all solutions.
• Deliver availability of services and embed cyber security-focused improvements.
• Travel to Trust premises as required to support IT functions.
