IT Recruitment Solutions Ltd. in Brighton is seeking an IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Support professional for a hybrid, full-time role. You will support business customers, investigate faults and take ownership of issues through to resolution, with training and guidance from experienced engineers.

The position combines customer support, troubleshooting and configuration work, with opportunities to broaden technical knowledge and career development.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in an IT support, technical helpdesk or service desk role.
• Experience supporting business customers or working with third-party suppliers.
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional approach.
• A logical approach to troubleshooting and a willingness to develop your technical knowledge.
• Experience of networking, broadband or VoIP would be beneficial, although training will be provided.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities.
• Attention to detail and confidence using support systems and online tools.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to customers by phone, email and a service desk ticketing system
• Investigating and resolving issues across connectivity, networking and communications services
• Logging and prioritising tickets, maintaining accurate records and working within agreed service levels
• Keeping customers informed throughout, coordinating with senior engineers and external suppliers where needed
• Assisting with configuration tasks and service installations
• Helping improve support documentation, internal processes and the customer experience
