Job summary

APCOA is seeking an IT Application Support Analyst to join our established IT team in Uxbridge, working in a hybrid environment. You’ll provide first and second line support across a range of business-critical applications and collaborate with colleagues and third-party suppliers to resolve issues quickly.

You should be technically minded with strong troubleshooting, experience with Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and SQL basics.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first and second line IT or application support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a structured environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory).
• Experience with database-driven applications and basic SQL querying or data validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line application support, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Configure, maintain and support business-critical applications.
• Investigate application, system and data issues, carrying out root cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance and business processes, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Analyse application inputs, outputs and data flows to ensure information is accurate and business processes continue to run effectively.
• Log and manage incidents, service requests and problems through the service management system.
• Work with third-party suppliers and vendors to investigate, elevate and resolve issues.
• Support bespoke SQL-based applications, including basic query validation and data checks.
• Contribute to improvements across applications, processes and the wider IT service.
