Job summary

CMR is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team supporting a major UK infrastructure programme. You will lead risk management, maintain risk registers and work with Planning, Commercial and Cost teams to provide clear insight into uncertainty and exposure.

You will drive quantitative analysis such as QSRA and QCRA, develop robust risk models, and produce concise risk reporting for key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project risk management within major infrastructure or capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies and quantitative analysis.
• Experience in QSRA and QCRA is essential.
• Ability to develop and interrogate risk registers and models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with data interpretation ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of project risk management processes across complex infrastructure projects.
• Own and maintain project risk registers with clear causes, events, impacts and mitigations.
• Facilitate risk workshops with project stakeholders and review teams.
• Challenge teams to identify, quantify and actively manage risks.
• Undertake QSRA and QCRA to assess uncertainty impacts on outcomes.
• Develop risk models with cost and schedule uncertainty and appropriate distributions.
• Support risk allowances, contingency and reserves with robust analysis.
• Produce risk reporting, dashboards and management information.
