Job summary

CMR is seeking a Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team, supporting clients on major construction projects. You will identify, assess and manage risks, facilitate workshops, maintain risk registers and produce insightful risk reports.

Ideal candidates have extensive risk management experience in projects, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to improving risk processes. This role offers hybrid working: home-based with London office collaboration several days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage project risks with PM and commercial teams.
• Facilitate risk workshops; capture key risks, opportunities and exposures.
• Maintain and define risks with causes, events, impacts and mitigations.
• Assess likelihood and impact; support proportionate responses.
• Monitor mitigation actions; ensure progression and closure.
• Produce monthly risk reports with analysis and insight.
• Support qualitative and quantitative risk analyses for cost/schedule exposures.
• Identify trends and escalate to senior staff when needed.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to promote risk culture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk processes and tools.
• Support Senior Risk Managers in delivering high-quality services.
