Job summary

Cooper Moss Rutland LLP seeks an experienced Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team, supporting one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes. This is a project risk focus, not enterprise risk, with emphasis on uncertainty and robust insight.

You will lead risk management processes across complex construction projects, maintain risk registers, run QSRA and QCRA analyses, and produce dashboards to inform planning, commercial and cost decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a project risk management role within major construction or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of project risk methodologies and quantitative risk analysis.
• Experience undertaking QSRA and QCRA.
• Experience developing and interrogating risk registers and risk models.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a multi-stakeholder project environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of project risk management processes across complex infrastructure and construction projects.
• Own and maintain project risk registers, ensuring risks are clearly defined in terms of causes, events, impacts, probability and mitigation actions.
• Facilitate risk identification and review workshops with Project Management, Planning, Commercial and other stakeholders.
• Challenge project teams to ensure risks are identified, assessed, quantified and actively managed.
• Undertake QSRA and QCRA to assess the potential impact of uncertainty on project outcomes.
