Peoplewithenergy is seeking an experienced risk professional to manage risk on a major UK energy infrastructure programme. You will provide leadership within a high-performing Project Controls team, shaping decision-making across complex programmes and driving best-practice risk management.

In a hybrid role based in London or Leiston, you will deliver Cost, Schedule and QRA, facilitate risk workshops, mentor teams and engage senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and strategic

Qualifications

• Significant experience in risk management on major infrastructure or energy projects.
• Advanced expertise in Cost, Schedule and Integrated QRA.
• Strong understanding of project controls and programme delivery.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring teams and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent facilitation skills for complex risk workshops.
• Strong mitigation planning and risk response management capabilities.
• Experience operating across client, contractor, consultancy or government environments.
• Exceptional analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in complex project environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead risk management activities across major programmes and project functions.
• Dep Rise for the Head of Delivery Risk when required.
• Develop and enhance risk management processes, tools and governance frameworks.
• Deliver Cost, Schedule and Integrated QRA.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment and mitigation workshops.
• Coordinate Executive Risk Reviews and Estimate at Completion updates.
• Produce risk dashboards, reports and management insights for stakeholders.
• Support project teams with effective mitigation planning and risk controls.
• Drive continuous improvement and digital innovation within Project Controls.
• Promote risk management best practice across the organisation.
